Due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus, this meeting has been postponed until further notice
Registration is open for an exciting 2020 AGM and Annual Conference of the ECSRHM in Italy.
This year we are hosted by SIVAR (Italian Association of Farm Animal Practitioners) as part of their 22nd International Congress. Our Conference will take place over two days on the 14th and 15th of May in the beautiful settings of Palazzo Trecchi, in the historical town of Cremona, just south of Milan.
The AGM of the College will take place on the 14th of May, from 17.00 to 18.30h. Remember that 2020 is election’s year for the College, so your participation is particularly important. If you are not going to be able to attend, we are planning for a remote link to the AGM.
This year we will have two key note speakers. Prof. Antonello Cannas, from the University of Sassari (IT) will give us an overview of the Italian small ruminant industry, and Prof. George Fhtenakis, from the University of Thessaly (GR) will discuss the use of proteomics in the study of mastitis in the ewe. In addition, we will be hosting colleagues from the University of Perugia and the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale Umbria e Marche (IT), who will present some of their work on small ruminants.
The evening programme on the 14th of May, soon after the AGM, is centred on Cremona being the birth place, and where he indeed lived all his life, of Antonio Stradivari, the famous crafter of string instruments, particularly violins. Please find all the information for the evening activity in the file attached. We hope you can all join us for this event.
Please find attached to this email all the information needed on how to register, how to get to Cremona, and how to contribute with your presentations to our Conference.
To register you can also follow the link below to access the online form for registration and payment. Help us by registering and submitting your work as early as possible.
We are truly looking forward to see you all in Italy soon.
